Ms. Ming Xingnan is a Partner and an attorney-at-law based in the firm's Beijing office, where she has been practising since 2008. She is a litigation lawyer specialized in IP litigation. She was admitted to China bar in 2002.
Ms. Ming's practice covers the judicial and administrative protection of all the intellectual property rights in China, counseling on trademark, as well as the franchising and licensing thereof.
Prior to joining in the firm, she used to clerk for four years in the Beijing High Court, where she participated in all kinds of civil and criminal litigations.
She later decided to work as a litigation lawyer with a focus on intellectual property. She then worked in several mid-sized local law firms, where she represented the clients in hundreds of litigations.
Ms. Ming's practice now mainly focuses on trademark administrative and civil litigation. Some of her cases were listed by the Supreme People's Court in its Annual 10/50 Exemplary Cases and IP Report.
In 2012, Ms. Ming won the “Excellence Award” of Haidian District Lawyers Association, which intends to commend outstanding legal practitioners. She was awarded “Outstanding Member of the Practice Development & Innovation Committee” by the Beijing Lawyers Association in 2015, and “Excellent Lawyer” by the Beijing Justice Bureau in 2016 and 2017. She was listed as one of the ALB China Top 15 Litigators in 2019 and the ALB China Top 15 IP Lawyers in 2023.
